about

A mix of written and motivic improvised jazz-rock tunes drawing from my past as a rock and blues player with music that allowed us to stretch out, play loud, and piss off the neighbors. The record was recorded in one day with mostly first takes (with several edits of mistakes by the guitar player) and was about the most fun I have ever had in a professional studio, an environment that I usually find somewhat stifling. This is also the first recording where I used a Theremin. Recorded at Clear Track Studios in Clearwater, FL.
